Inline Kids 1; The Outdoor Skate
Basics™/Level 1 - 4 (6 - 12)
Robichon's® Inline Kids 1 best prepares your child for
cool moves™ and outdoor inline skating. Robichon's®
Inline Kids 1, introduces the sport of inline skating, emphasizes
use of appropriate protective equipment, the skaters' rules
of the road and Robichon's® Great Skaters' Honor Code.
We play lots of fun games facilitating and reinforcing skating
skills!
Skill Ability Level: Beginner to Beginning Intermediate
Some specific skills taught or improved are:
- Movement: stride 1, full swizzle 1, stride swizzle 1 combo,
- Stopping and Speed Control: heel stop 1 (low speeds),
- Turning: A - Frame Turn 1 (L & R),
- Terrain: gear checks, defensive falling and skate position,
standing still, getting up, The basic hop, skipping, leaping
and The Stabilizer™.

5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 (6 - 12)
Robichon's® Inline Kids 2 begins with a review of skills
listed in Inline Kids 1. We then teach standard intermediate
to advanced skills. These skills enhance your child's enjoyment
of inline skating, continue to build skills for outdoor inline
skating and prepare them for sport specific or specialized skating.
Take your child's skating to the next fun level in Cool Moves™.
Skill Ability Level: Standard Intermediate to Advanced
Some Specific skills taught or
improved are:
- Movement: forward power stride 3 and backwards skating
- Stopping and Speed Control: spin stops, backwards stops,
powerslides, high speed stops
- Turning: forward and backward crossovers, mohawks and
two footed transitions
- Terrain: gear checks, defensive falling and skate position,
skipping, leaping and jumping, group skating and communication.
