The Event: Take a break, Skate the Sunshine State! For those of us who live in winter weather climates, sunshine and sunsets can be a lifesaver. Now, you can combine your need for skating and sunshine during the darker days of winter! Fortunately for us, Florida develops some of the finest paved trail systems in the country! We will skate three top trails Florida offers - each trail offering its own unique character.

Description: We begin our adventure on a 14-foot wide trail named The West Orange Trail. The West Orange Trail, located in Central, Florida meanders through orange groves and intriguing small towns and parks. We then spend 1.5 days touring the extensive 47 mile Withlacoochee Trail which follows along the Withlacoochee River and through the Withlacoochee Forest. We take time out to enjoy an optional swim with Manatees of Homossasassa Springs; home to one of the largest Manatee populations in the country. We then travel to the Gulf Coast where we spend 2 days skating the popular 37 mile Pinellas Trail. Remember to pack your swimsuit, the ocean and some of the nation's most revered beaches are conveniently located near the Pinellas Trail. Our final evening, we fine dine awaiting a breathtaking sunset overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
